We create approachable, usable, and personalized spaces to complement life.
Casework is an interior design studio focused on environments and how they are experienced. The quality of an environment is one of the greatest and most overlooked sources of happiness. The power of design is transformative. Our goal is to understand our client’s needs and ideas and translate them into a space.
Founded in 2015 by Casey Keasler, the work of Casework employs a range of ideas, materials, objects, and references - from the unexpected to off-the-shelf. We are driven by experience, narrative, and the belief that thoughtful design can be a means toward living life to its fullest.
The Casework studio is highly collaborative and driven by responsibility and research – looking towards the future with support from the past. We strive for innovation yet dive deep into archives. We believe in investing in quality over quantity and doing something right, the first time.
Casey Keasler, Founder
As the founder of Casework, Casey Keasler, set out to build a business that not only establishes meaning in the interiors she and her team creates but also be a foundation for growth and possibilities for those involved. Casey has worked in interior design for over fifteen years and each project, no matter the size, is considered with passion and attention to detail. She isn't interested in filling a space with pretty things, she wants each project to tell a unique story. We are listeners, managers, detectives, therapists, advocates, and visionaries. At the root, we are designers looking for meaning in the work we produce.
Casey compares the interview process to a really good first date. This phase is inspiring because she explores the potential of what can be created together. Each client is unique and because of this process, each project has a unique result. The bottom line is not about what Casework wants to design, rather it is to serve the clients and create a space that is a true extension to their personality. The end result? A project just as unique as those involved.
When not running a design studio, Casey can be found remodeling her own 1966 Ranchalow in NE Portland with her boyfriend, Casey (yes they are both Casey), and rescue dog, Winston.

Miranda Williams, Interior Designer
Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Miranda joined Casework in the Spring of 2017 as Casey’s first full-timer. She had a killer resume; Kelly Wearstler in LA and Scale House Manager at a paving company in Anchorage. That combination of sophistication and scrappiness was the perfect fit. Her background in residential interiors and ability to dive into the details makes her a strong asset, especially when working on older homes or fast paced commercial projects. Miranda honed her design skills at Utah State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design. Her day-to-day is a mix of creating architectural construction drawings, 3D development, design decks, product sourcing, and picking the best playlist on Spotify. She has a knack for nailing plumbing fixtures the first time round. In her free time, Miranda relaxes with Basil the cat and is always up for seeing new places, finding the perfect Negroni & dabbling in costume makeup artistry.

Haley VOGHT, Interior Designer
Haley moved to Portland from Indiana in 2016 to pursue her love of interior design and the great outdoors. In the Spring of 2017 she joined Casework, where she spends her days creating furniture plans, making product selections and overseeing the purchasing and procurement for the studio. With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Ball State, and a well trained eye for furnishings and textiles, Haley helps clients hone their interior goals and aspirations then transforms them into beautifully designed but livable environments. Haley has a keen eye for finding the best rugs around, is practicing the art of calligraphy, she’s our go to for last minute greeting cards and making every hand written detail count. When not designing interiors, Haley spends time hiking the mountains and coastline of the NW with her new husband and recharges by watching reruns of The Office with her fluffy cat, Nara.

Jordan AllEN, Interior Designer
Raised in the hills of rugged Northern New Mexico, Jordan has since lived in many places including New York, New Orleans, Kauai and now she calls Portland home. She attributes her love of old homes to a year spent in New Orleans volunteering for Americorps after hurricane Katrina. Since moving to Portland, Jordan earned her second degree in Interior Design, her first was a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she worked for two renowned residential design firms, and has remodeled two of her own homes. No small fete. This year, her current home is turning 100 years old and she’s throwing it a birthday party. Jordan recently joined Casework, but it feels like she’s been here for years. Her easy going nature but sharp attention to detail makes her the perfect addition. It doesn’t hurt that she has a passion for creating spaces that are thoughtful, functional and sustainable. In her free time, Jordan can’t be found. She’s usually off the grid somewhere camping in the NW with her partner and pup, Simba.

Lana Boelter, Brand Coordinator & Graphic designer
Born in the City of Roses, Lana divided time between the mountains of Bend and the city of Portland and is one of the few true Oregonians you’ll meet. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising & Design, she spends her days developing layouts, website updates, marketing, strategy, content development, style guides, production assistance, and social media management. She’s a jack of all trades and there’s nothing we’ve found she can’t do. She is the first one to offer a helping hand and will do so with a smile. You know if Lana is working at your side, it’s going to be fun. Her journey began at Casework in early 2019 and her fascination with fine arts, sensitivity to purpose in design, and search for creative balance has developed a new found love and curiosity with interiors. When not in the studio, she can be found searching for the best local jazz club, belting out Alicia Keys Fallin’ during group karaoke nights (and nailing it) or combing One Tail at a Time to find her furever friend.
